The African Center for Community Empowerment (ACCE) is an awards’ winning community-based organization that strives to empower and enhance the lives of at-risk youth and adults living in underserved communities in Southeastern Queens. We provide creative services that have served over one thousand youth and community members.
At ACCE, we place a premium on PREVENTION all the while striving to rebuild shattered lives (remediation). Ours is a passion that is unmatched and a commitment that is strikingly outstanding resulting in:
- 93% promotion rate for after-school and mentoring programs
- 90% retention rate for all participants
- Improved self-esteem and confidence, and producing a generation of Life long learners with greater appreciation for the value of education
We’ve achieved these results because at ACCE, we:
