Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital in Whippany, New Jersey, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian. The hospital is committed to exceptional, empathetic care that supports the wellbeing of pets and the people who love them.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The position offers a schedule of 36-40 hours per week. You'll provide thoughtful, progressive medicine with a focus on preventive care, pain control and customized treatment plans designed to preserve each patient's comfort, mobility and vitality. Resources, mentorship and clinical autonomy are available to support your personal and professional development and help you deliver the highest standard of patient care.

Practice Details
Services include preventive care, surgery, dentistry, rehabilitation, pain management, companion laser therapy, tonometry, anesthesia, cardiology, dermatology, microchipping, puppy and kitten care, senior wellness and end-of-life care. The hospital also offers an in-house laboratory and surgical laser services. General practice hours are Monday and Friday from 7:30am to 5pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30am to 6pm, and Saturday from 7:30am to 2pm. The hospital is closed on Sundays.

Team
You'll join four veterinarians and a caring support team. The doctors bring interests in surgery, dentistry, ophthalmology and preventive medicine, while sharing a commitment to compassionate patient care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
