Work Location: Ormond Beach, FL | In Person | Multiple Client Facilities

Position Overview

Daroq Inc., a Jani-King franchisee, is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Janitor / Custodial Employee to service our client facilities in Ormond Beach, FL.

This position may include multiple client locations throughout the Ormond Beach area. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between assigned facilities as scheduled.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values consistency, works well independently, and maintains high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Complete assigned daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and high-touch surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other facility supplies.
• Properly use and maintain cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Follow established safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Promptly report maintenance issues, damage, supply needs, or safety concerns.
• Travel to and service assigned client facilities as scheduled.
• Use the company’s mobile app to clock in and out, review assignments, and mark completed tasks.
• Maintain a professional appearance and respectful conduct at client facilities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred; training provided.
• Willing and able to travel between assigned client facilities in the Ormond Beach area.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Smartphone capable of running the company’s required scheduling, timekeeping, and task-management app.
• Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning instructions and procedures.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Successful completion of applicable background screening and other pre-employment requirements.
