Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Transcriptionist to join our team in a flexible, part-time remote role. This position is ideal for individuals with strong listening skills, good typing accuracy, and a commitment to producing clear, well-formatted written documents from audio or video recordings.No extensive prior experience is required. Training and guidance may be provided to help qualified candidates learn the transcription process, follow formatting guidelines, and meet quality standards.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to audio and video recordings and accurately convert spoken content into written text.
• Review and proofread transcripts for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and accuracy.
• Identify speakers and format conversations according to project guidelines.
• Maintain consistency in terminology, formatting, and document structure.
• Meet assigned deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
• Use transcription software and digital tools to complete assignments efficiently.
• Handle confidential recordings and documents responsibly.
• Communicate with team members or supervisors regarding unclear audio and project requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong listening comprehension and attention to detail.
• Good written English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Basic to intermediate typing skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with online document tools.
• Reliable internet access and a suitable remote working environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Willingness to learn transcription tools and follow instructions.
• Previous transcription experience is an advantage but is not required.
