*** Hiring Immediately *** We are looking for professional and experienced Security Officers with a strong background in crowd control, transit security, and de-escalation techniques . Our security team plays a crucial role in maintaining order, handling confrontations, and ensuring all guests adhere to our policiesespecially in high-stress situations. Location: Stockton Regional Transit District- Stockton, California Job Type:Full-Time Salary: $19.75 - $20.25 Hourly Shifts Available:Day and Swing Key Responsibilities: - Provide Excellent Customer Service - Maintain a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor while assisting guests and staff. - Crowd Control - Monitor crowds during peak hours, and busy weekends to prevent disturbances. - De-escalation and Conflict Resolution - Utilize strong verbal communication and de-escalation techniques to handle disputes and diffuse tense situations calmly and professionally. - Policy Enforcement - Ensure all guests comply with policies, safety rules, and conduct guidelines. - Surveillance and Incident Reporting -Conduct routine patrols, and complete detailed incident reports when necessary. - Emergency Response - Respond to fights, medical emergencies, or disturbances promptly and effectively while coordinating with law enforcement if needed. Minimum Requirements: - 2+ years of security experience incrowd control, transit security or similar environments. - Strongcustomer service skillsand ability to interact professionally and personably with guests and staff. - Experience handling high-stress situations . - Strong de-escalation and confrontation management skills . - Ability to enforce rules and maintain professionalism under pressure. - Must have a valid security license/guard card (state-specific). - Must have a valid Baton, OC Spray and Handcuffing certificate. - CPR/First Aid certification - Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure. - Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
